Il Sentiero Etnografico del Vanoi è un insieme di percorsi escursionistici organizzati in anelli tematici, che si snodano tra Caoria a 832 metri di quota, e la malga Vesnòta de sóra, mille metri più in alto, attraversando i luoghi dove gli abitanti hanno vissuto, trasformandoli nei secoli con la propria attività.

Il territorio interessato comprende un'area di 4.000 ettari situata sul versante meridionale della catena del Lagorai, solcata da due incisioni vallive, la Valsorda e la sua laterale Valzanca. Il tracciato percorribile interessa entrambe le valli, risalendo infine per la Valzanca, fino ai pascoli sovrastati dalle guglie di cima Cece.
La cartaLa carta generale, in distribuzione presso i Centri Visitatori del Parco, è stampata su due lati. Una facciata contiene indicazioni complessive sul tracciato del Sentiero, sulle strutture informative, sui punti di pernottamento, sugli allestimenti etnografici. Il retro illustra la struttura degli anelli di percorrenza e gli altri possibili tracciati, affinché ciascuno possa scegliere l'itinerario in relazione alle proprie esigenze.
Ai visitatori Questi luoghi e sentieri sono ancora oggi frequentati e abitati. Percorrerli può rappresentare un'avventura significativa attraverso gli spazi e i tempi di vita di una comunità.
Visitateli in modo discreto e gentile, senza lasciare tracce e rifiuti, con rispetto e attenzione. Fate la loro conoscenza con i sensi e la mente aperti, affinché vi raccontino la loro storia.
Informazioni utili Il Sentiero può essere percorso per singole parti, in poche ore e in giornata, o per intero. In questo caso si consiglia il pernottamento su prenotazione in una delle strutture segnalate. What the Ethnographic Path is The Vanoi Ethnographic Path is a series of circular routes with each one proposing a different theme. These walks, winding between the village of Vanoi at 845 metres and Malga Vesnòta de Sora one thousand metres higher, pass through places that have been animated, built and transformed over the centuries by man.
The territory of the Path covers an area of 4,000 hectares; it is on the southerly side of the Largorai chain of mountains and cut by two valleys; the Valsorda and the lateral Valzanca. The marked trail covers both these valleys, finishing with a climb up the Valzanca valley to the high summer pastures under the crags of the Cece peak.
The map The general map, which is available at every park's visitors center, is printed on both sides. One side shows the overall layout of the Path, organisation of information, overnight accommodation and exhibits. The map on the back side details the different circular routes and alternative routes to help everyone choose the best itinerary to fit their own needs.
Message to visitors These places are still inhabited and the tracks are still used today. Walking here may prove to be a significant experience or adventure through the space and times in the life of a community.
Visitors should be discreet and polite, be respectful and careful, and not drop litter. Try to get to know these people with open minds and they will tell you about their history.
Information You can walk along single sections of the Path, in a few hours and in a day, or along the entire Path. In the latter case we advise you to book a stay in the overnight accommodation.
